The Next Skaterboy Studios Game - In Roblox

Life In Rio is the next planned project from Skaterboy Studios, with development expected to begin in 2027. The game will be an open-world life simulation experience inspired by Brazil, particularly Rio de Janeiro, featuring elements of freedom and exploration inspired by games such as GTA and Watch Dogs, while maintaining its own original universe, characters, and identity.

The goal is to create a detailed and lively Brazilian city with realistic-style graphics and characters, urban environments, different lifestyles, interactive systems, and a strong representation of everyday Brazilian life.

Players will be able to create and customize their own realistic avatars, choosing from a wide variety of styles, ranging from casual to alternative, while exploring a city filled with activities, NPCs, and everyday situations.

Another planned feature is localization and voice dubbing in different languages, allowing parts of the experience to be adapted for players from different countries.

The project also aims to deliver a cinematic experience through cutscenes featuring body animation, facial expressions, voice acting, cinematic cameras, Foley sound effects, and spatial/3D audio. The goal is to make characters and scenes feel more expressive and immersive.
